IT'S A GIRL!
We had another ultrasound done at 27 weeks and finally found out that Pea D is a GIRL! We can finally refer to the baby as a SHE and prepare for HER arrival. We can now begin to delve into the baby name books we have and pick a name for our little monkey. During the ultrasound, she kept hiding her face, but we caught a quick 3D glimpse of her profile and hands. We all said she was giving us the cold shoulder, but the technician was able to see that Pea D has a ton of hair. I didn't think you could make out hair on an ultrasound, but apparently our baby has enough of it to be quite noticeable. She looks great and weighs a little over 2 pounds, which makes her right on track with all of her measurements.
Shereif spent an entire day painting the nursery. I was truly touched by how excited he was to do it and how much time and effort he put into prepping, painting, and getting it ready. He constantly tells Pea D how much he loves her and can't wait to meet her. Shereif is so excited, which makes me more excited.
